Jail = Finished

Finished the Jail tonight!!! Whoo hoo!!! Cricut saved my life again & lots of time!!

Party Favors

Fool's Gold party favors for the "big kids" (not babies). Small tea light candle size galvanized buckets & shimmer gold gum balls that I purchased online from Oriental Trading. Labels I made on my Cricut & computer.

Jail & Saloon Progress

I made some progress tonight, mostly on the jail but hey you got to start somewhere. I got the doors & windows outlined in black acrylic paint. I used painters tape to get the straight lines (ha my hand isn't that steady). For the jail I used sheets of white letter size copy paper to make the look of the big concrete blocks. Stay tuned...;)

Jail & Saloon: Building Wild West Town for Case's First Birthday Party

I have started creating the wild west town for Case's 1st birthday party in June. Obviously the theme is a cowboy western birthday party. While I would love to be able to work on these every night I know it won't be possible as I am still a Mommy & Wife first but as I am able to work on them I will posts updates so that those interested can follow along on my progress. Sorry some of the pictures are dark, when you only have time to work on them in the garage after the baby has gone to sleep it doesn't actually offer much lighting. A special thanks to Don's TV & Appliances for letting me have these & more to come boxes. I am forever grateful. I started by drawing out my design for my jail & saloon on the boxes. I then cut them out with a box cutters. For the jail bars I used good ole household tin foil. I painted the door of the jail & the swinging doors on the saloon with brown acrylic paint. Stay tuned for more updates tomorrow.

One tired but ever so inspired Mommy :)

Getting Prepared For Case's First Birthday

Buying in advance does have its advantages...you can wait till whatever you need goes on sale. :) At least if I'm going to do it up big I can maybe save a little money. Ha!

Case's Grandma

Case is so blessed to have such an amazing & awesome Grandma!!! We are just the lucky ones that get to call her Mom. :)

Mack's Soft Moldable Silicone Earplugs

My baby boy just recently got tubes in his ears on Monday & needed something to protect his ears while he was in the bath tub. These worked perfectly. Purchased at Walmart.
